Montgomery County Kosher Meals.In response to the Covid-19 crisis, the State of Maryland has been providing free meals to all children age 18 and under. Yad Yehuda has been approved as a distribution site for daily kosher lunches for ALL children age 18 and under. There is no income eligibility requirement for this program. We expect this pilot program to begin in early- to mid-May, 2020; it has approval to operate for up to 60 days.

KOSHER MEAL INTEREST SURVEY
We are pleased to announce that Yad Yehuda has been authorized to distribute daily kosher lunches for ALL children age 18 and under, in partnership with Teach Coalition (a project of the Orthodox Union), the State of Maryland, Montgomery County, our schools and our local kosher vendors. The goal of this non-income based program, is to ensure that all children have access to nutritious lunches even when school is out of session. We hope to keep this program running until schools are reopened. We expect this pilot program to begin in early- to mid-May, 2020; it has approval to operate for up to 60 days.
